Do your business research using Dallas Public Library databases! This repeating open class gives you the opportunity to learn how to use ReferenceUSA, DemographicsNow, the Small Business Reference Center and other databases for the research you need to start your own business. Learn to use your library's resources to benefit your small business.

    DemographicsNow: Contributes to a better understanding of: Customer demographics, research on competitors, and location evaluation by providing access to maps, demographics, census information and reports that can be focused on specific regions and neighborhoods.

    ReferenceUSA:  Includes verified information on businesses throughout the U.S. and tools for mapping and defining interest areas on potential customers, competition and locations to consider for supporting a business.

    Small Business Reference Center: allows access to full text for many top consumer small business reference books, as well as tools to address many small business topics. It includes business videos, a help and advice section and details on how to create business plans.

Join the us at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library on the 5th floor on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays all August and September at 6:30 pm for free instruction.
