Making it at the Library

Posted by Katharine Gulyamova on Aug 14, 2017

Your Dallas Public Library Card provides access to databases that any entrepreneur can use to evaluate their current or potential business location. The databases allow users to see if the neighborhood demographics contain their ideal client base, envision how many and where competing businesses are located as well as allow you to strengthen your business or marketing plan with data from the US Census and verified business details.

Previous entries have highlighted DemographicsNow and ReferenceUSA, but if you are looking interested in learning first-hand how these databases are used join The Dallas B.R.A.I.N. and Library Staff on Technology Wednesday at the Preston Royal Branch Library on this Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2 pm.

Whether you are just about to start with writing your business plan or if you are planning a marketing strategy for your already operational business, our databases can help provide insightful information to the local market. This is your opportunity to ask us your questions about researching at the library, blogs and any of the programming we offer. This event is free and open to the public. I look forward to seeing you there!
